Antonios  the first time I met Serge was in 1989 near Stuttgart, germany. I was 19 years old and Serge gave me that motivation that i needed to train hard many more years from then on. I still have his autogram he gave me when we visited the Hard Rock Cafe Formel 1 near Stuttgart. During the last 20 years he was always in my mind when i once more quit the training thinking that it is not important to train hard and live healthy. Today i am very sad to read this message and happy to had the chance to know him. One thing is clear, he will be in my mind the rest of my life and i have the heritage to live it healthy and good and to help those who need help. His memory is forever engraved in the hearts and minds of millions who found in him the inspiration they were seeking. He made of me the man I am now. He took a simple stone and made it a diamond from anyone who wanted to make a difference in this world. Serge, nous avons eu l'honneur de te recevoir à Boulogne-sur-mer lors d'une compétition et ta prestation toujours bien préparée reste un excellent souvenir. Laurent Heurtois Le dernier des seigneurs s'en est allé! Serge Nubret emporte avec lui toute une époque, un style, son style. Des années 60 au changement de millénaire il a fait le tour du monde. Il avait sa vision du monde du culturisme qui était synonyme de beauté. Une ligne, une façon de poser et surtout la mise en valeur de la discipline au féminin. Serge Nubret était une institution, une école à lui tout seul où les athlètes apprenaient à être hamonieux. Il préférait parler de culture physique plutôt que de bodybuilding. Il a fait trembler les américains dont Arnold Schwarzenegger. On le croyait immortel, il l'est! Que restera t-il de son passage? Une sculpture vivante, le nom d'un formidable personnage qui avait quelque chose en lui de Mohamed Ali! Il aura non seulement donné un sens à sa vie, mais aussi du sens à la vie de tant d'autres personnes et à une discipline peu populaire.
